One last thing...

Since this is the last blogging post for me, I guess I don't have much to talk about. Except for whoever reads this post, good luck with your life, career, goals, and whatever in life that inspires you to lead you to be a better person, I guess. Make life the most important goal because it the only valuable thing that makes us, "us". Don't take life to seriously because you might just end up regreting it. And love everyone around us and show them that there appreciated. That's all folks!

Why do people do this?

Ok I work at a Chinese restaurant. It so dang busy sometimes, I wish I could take a breather sometimes. Anyhow, a couple of moron's called and you could tell that they had nothing to do but harrass others. So they called and I was like, "What would you like to order? They said, "I would like to order some wonton soup? and what sizes do you have?" I said, "Large or small?" They said, "Do you have a medium?" I said,"Sorry, we don't. Only large or small." Then he was like, "I would like to take a medium." I said, "We don't have one." And it was on like donkey kong.

My Generation...

So the Hmong kids of my generation are more Americanize than ever. I guess, if you were Hmong you would understand where I was coming from. We, when I say we I really mean a few of us not all of us, want to be update to with everyone else, but it's still good to keep your roots because it the foundation of who we are. One of my biggest concerns is that in the next few years, I don't know if we will even exist anymore culturally wise. I have so many newphews and nieces and I barely hear them speak Hmong, mostly english in the household. I am not saying it a bad thing, it kinda of a funny thing and that where Hmonglish comes in. As we get older, we mix the two language together. I do it all the time. For example, I will say blah blah blah "and we" blah blah blah "me too" blah blah blah "my mom". And if I had friends around me they would say, "You speak so fast, what are you saying?" I am like I not speaking at a fast pace, I speaking at an normal pace. Yeah, it's weird. Anyhow. I always wonder how it be like to have a American little girl speak fluent Hmong? but I know this one does....not Hmong anyways...

Turn of the of the Century

Well. I tuff it out and I told my mom that color shouldn't matter. We should be happy with whomever we choose. Men are men, can't say much. I guess after being married now, I realize that she wants me to be happy for the "RIGHT" reasons. The truth of the matter is that we are only happy with what we have for the time being, but when that happiness slowly dissolves, what do we got? A big fat "Nothing!" I have read in a article somewhere that if you aren't married within the next couple of years after being together, it will never happen. Do you know why? Because of comfort. Nobody likes change. But just because you have a title, it shouldn't make things different, but for some odd reason, it just does. I guess it just basic human nature.

Culture Clash of the 21st century

Being born in the U.S. of A, is a privilege. Most people don't take into consideration how lucky they are to be where they are today. A lot of immigrants came to the U.S because America was the land of the free. Way back before I was born, my parents came to the States in 1978 as refugees from Thailand. They never heard of what a toliet was and never seen the toliet work it's magic. (The wonderful life of having City plumbing.)
